The Skin Shark Browser Extension uses a third party analytics tool (Google Analytics) to store information related to your interaction with the extension. For example, clicks, searches and other usage-related data like the URL of pages you visit on supported marketplaces. The information we collect is used to better understand the effectiveness of our extensions's features, measure audience size and characteristics, discover and diagnose problems, and improve user experience. Your Course Location (a rough location with lower resolution than a latitude and longitude with three or more decimal places) and device information (device brand, model, technical specification and operating system) is assigned to this data. Individual IP addresses are not stored. This data is permanently deleted after 14 months.
We capture error and diagnostic data (e.g. error messages, stack traces, page URL and console warnings) to diagnose problems and fix bugs. This data is filtered for any PII and retained for a maximum period of 90 days.
Some extension settings are stored on our server and tied to a random client ID. If you optionally provide your email address to enter a giveaway, this is tied to your random client ID. It is used only to maintain the authenticity of the giveaway by preventing multiple entries and is not used for marketing purposes.
